Michigan-based writer Kathleen Tighe is currently working on a memoir of personal essays detailing the years she lived as an expatriate in Saudi Arabia. The memoir selections frequently intersect with current political and social issues. After a career as an English teacher, Kathleen now enjoys focusing on creative expression, which includes creative nonfiction, poetry, and flash fiction/nonfiction. When she is not writing, she reads, travels with her husband, walks her golden retriever, and keeps tabs from afar on her adult children.
